So before you apply TTO onto skin, it is important to do a patch test to ensure that your skin does not react to the preparation. If you do notice any signs of redness or itching, then discontinue treatment immediately.
2) Sitz Bath
In case you didn’t know, a sitz bath is where you submerge your nether regions in water. Also called a hip bath, you basically sit in a few inches of tepid water with your legs bend upwards at the knees and slightly open. Add just a few drops of the tea tree oil—don’t overdo it—and sit in the bath for about 15 to 20 minutes. This will help with the itching and pain.
